French Fries Recipe | Finger Chips
French fries or Finger chips are the deep-fried potatoes which are served hot. Most french fries are produced from frozen potatoes. These are generally eaten as part of lunch or dinner or by themselves as a snack. They are usually salted and, depending on the country, maybe served with ketchup, vinegar, mayonnaise, tomato sauce.

INGREDIENTS
- Potatoes- 3 nos, medium-sized
- Salt - as per taste
- Oil for frying
- Firstly take the potatoes and then peel the skin.
- Rinse well in water.
- Cut the potatoes into even strips.
- Again rinse these potato fingers for a couple of times in water to remove the excess starch.
- Boil some water in a Kadai and also add some salt.
- Then transfer the potato fingers into it and cook it for 2-3 minutes in high flame.
- After 2 minutes strain the water and transfer the potatoes onto a plate.
- Allow them to cool.
- Transfer the potatoes into a container having a lid and place them in the freezer for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, heat oil in a pan.
- Then add potato fingers and fry them in medium flame till crisp and golden.
- Finally, drain over kitchen paper and sprinkle some salt over it and serve with tomato sauce.
