Chicken Kothu Perotta
Today I am sharing the recipe of kothu parotta. It is a popular South Indian food item. These are prepared with chicken or egg along with shredded parottas. You can use freshly prepared parotta or leftover parotta.

INGREDIENTS
- Perotta- 2 nos, shredded
- Chicken(Cooked with turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt) - 1/2 cup shredded
- Onion- 1 no, chopped
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tablespoon
- Green Chilly - 1 no, chopped
- Tomato - 1 no, small, chopped
- Curry Leaves - few
- Coriander leaves - few
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Chilly powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 3/4 teaspoon
- Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Firstly, heat oil in a pan.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves. Saute well until raw smell has gone.
- Then, add green chilly and saute for a while.
- Now put chopped onions along with some salt and saute until it becomes transparent.
- Then add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder and garam masala and saute well until raw smell has gone.
- Now slide the tomato pieces into this and cook.
- Once tomatoes are cooked then mash it.
- Add shredded chicken and combine well with the prepared masala.
- Then add the shredded parottas and stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Finally, put some coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
BONUS TIPS
- You can use the egg instead of chicken.
