Unnakkaya Recipe | Malabar Special Sweet

Unnakkaya / Unnakkai is a spindle-shaped sweet made of plantain stuffed with coconut filling. It is originated from the Malabar region of India and is often eaten at a wedding, iftar and other festivities.
It is a simple snack that everyone can be made easily with available ingredients at home. We can include scrambled eggs in the filling. Here I am sharing an eggless Unnakkaya.
