Passion Fruit, commonly known as Granadilla or Krishna Phal, in India is a vine species native to Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. It is a type of berry which is sweet-sour, highly aromatic and seedy. It has varieties from purple to yellow and golden one and also hybrids. Being a tropical plant, it needs well-drained soil with a high amount of humus and neutral pH to grow. This juicy fruit has some great health benefits. Some of them are: Good for diabetics: It has a low glycemic index (GI) and high fibre content. Thaen mittai is a ball-shaped sweet with the crunchy outside and juicy inside. It is a bright orange-colored soft candy that used to be sold in all petti shops in villages throughout Kerala and Tamilnadu. This candy is available in all small shops, especially in front of the schools. It was a common sight to see these in glass jars. Thaen means honey. But honey is not using in this candy. The juice oozing out from this candy is actually sugar syrup. Making this tasty snack at home is super quick and easy. I made this spicy recipe for my hubby because he mostly loves spiced items. Here I have used samosa pastry/samosa sheets. Refreshing Mango Orange Cooler

Homemade fruit juices are healthy as they are fresh and without containing any additives. So I am sharing a homemade juice recipe using mango and orange. This is a quick and easy refreshing drink made with a blend of mango, orange, lime juice, mint and sweetened with sugar. Just Try It and Enjoy!!! Please click below for quick video: INGREDIENTS Mango- 1 cup, diced Orange Juice- 1 cup Lemon juice- extracted from a lemon Sugar- 2 Tablespoons Mint Leaves- 6 or 7 nos Chilled Water- 1 cup INSTRUCTIONS Firstly put mango cubes and orange juice in a blender. Blend well to get a smooth paste. Then pour lemon juice and cold water to it. Also, add sugar and mint leaves and blend for a minute. Transfer this to serving glasses and have it. Today I am sharing the recipe of kothu parotta. It is a popular South Indian food item. These are prepared with chicken or egg along with shredded parottas. I have already posted a lemonade using b eetroot. Today I am sharing another lemonade using pear. In this drink, I am adding pear and chia seeds. This lemonade is my hubby's favourite one.  Pears are a mild, sweet fruit with a fibrous centre. They are rich in important antioxidants, flavonoids and dietary fibres. Consuming pears may help with weight loss and reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease if eaten as a part of an overall healthy diet.
